Wat Tham Mangkon Thong - Kanchanaburi

The wat is renowned for the uninspiring performance of a nun floating on the surface of a deep circular pool.
Located 5 kilometers from the city, in a cave the wat is accessible only by a staircase flanked by dragon sculptures on both sides.
A small museum offers a collection of ancient artifacts found in the area. It was built in 1904. At the entrance to the cave, a large rock is carved in the shape of a lion's head at the threatening pace.
