In the north-east of Thailand, poverty and tradition have always meant that all family members or friends of the same village lend themselves to finding food with Mother Nature. ..
One of the most enjoyable group activities is certainly net fishing, the fishing net is: อ วน จับ ปลา, uan chap pla or แห อ วน, haeo uan.
Our fishermen will leave early in the morning to bring the whole team together and everyone will bring their contribution; drinks ; snacks; net; etc ... We use a wide net as in the photo above, it is caught several along its length and it is lowered into the water vertically. Then we drag it from one end to the other or from one bank to another to collect as many fish as possible.

When the net arrives at the end it is brought back to the shore by folding it back on itself so as not to let escape the fish and other small shrimps and shells ...
Once the net on the shore we discover the result of fishing and we sort fish and other crustaceans that we will throw in baskets for this purpose. Some seals of water are also dumped to eliminate mud and dirt.
